Staff Regulations Training

The company had created a new company policy in response to staff's increase used of unnecessary restraints when caring for clients with special needs.  Therefore an outdated passive learning experience was rebuilt using articulate storyline to inform and motivate staff to adhere to all state, federal, and company policies on the use of restraints. This was accomplished in two ways. First, establishing a personal connection for staff with the clients they serve. Second, engage the staff in multiple learning experiences that would increase retention of policies. Lastly, the staff were equipped with a long term plan to build skills and support them as they carry the burden of long term care for clients with special needs.
